Just a year ago, there were 14,186 jobs in robotics, an increase of 13.79%. The average sales in robotics also increased in the last year, although not as drastically. It went up from $6.556 million to $6.582 million, an increase of 0.40%.

Of the companies in the robotics industry, 43% are in the Midwest, with 21% in the South, 20.74% in the Northeast, and 15.43% in the West. It is also interesting to note that while 12% of robotics companies report increases in employment, 5% report decreases. Four percent (4%) report sales growth, with 1% reporting sales decline.
